Wrestle mania comes to Southampton!
Wrestle mania came to Southampton on Sunday 2nd April!
Southampton based wrestler, Robbie NITRO, also known as Robbie Constant, hosted the event at the Southampton Novotel to raise money for Naomi House & Jacksplace.
Spectators got to see a whole host of wrestlers take to the ring for a jam packed evening of entertainment, which included three championship matches and an “Over the top rope rumble!”
The event raised £835 for our hospices. That’s enough to fund a whole weeks nursing care for a child staying at Naomi House for respite.
Area fundraiser for Naomi House & Jacksplace, Sarah Hudson, was at the event. She said:
It was a great day! The spectators were treated to some really fun entertainment and the looks on the children’s faces were priceless as they witnessed their wrestling heroes! The money Robbie and the wrestlers have raised is a fantastic amount and will help us provide vital care and support to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
