Absolutely! We have many volunteers who have regular weekly roles. They can also help ad-hoc at fundraising events.
We have opportunities available for anyone aged 16 or over at our fundraising events and charity shops. Please get in touch by emailing volunteering@naomihouse.org.uk.
We require volunteers to be over 18 to apply for any hospice or warehouse based roles.
Yes, absolutely. We only would like you to let your line manager know in advance.
We offer DofE placements in 6 of our shops for young people aged 15 or over. You can take on a placement at: Basingstoke, Chineham, Eastleigh, Totton, North End and Winchester. You can find the shop near you here.

All volunteers who have direct contact with families are DBS checked.
Each volunteer will be asked to wear appropriate clothing for the volunteering role they are taking on and this will be discussed during the interview.

We are looking for volunteer ambassadors to help us spread the word about Naomi House & Jacksplace.
The role of an ambassador is fun, social and involves attending various events on behalf of our charity. As an ambassador you will also be supporting our Fundraising team with various activities throughout the year and speaking to groups of people to raise awareness. Public speaking and communication are required skills for this role.
