Wilkins Kennedy raise over £24,000!
Staff at Wilkins Kennedy are celebrating a year of fantastic fundraising for Naomi House & Jacksplace!
The local accountancy firm have taken part in many fundraising activities throughout the year, including the Three Peaks Challenge and Great South Run.
Teams from their Portsmouth, Southampton, Romsey and Winchester offices also took charge of our charity shops for a day in our Store Wars challenge!
In total they have raised an outstanding £24,235.50 for Naomi House & Jacksplace! That’s enough to fund a week’s nursing care for 20 children or young people staying at the hospice for respite care.
Partner at Wilkins Kennedy, Paul Hopper, took part in the Great South Run and the Three Peaks Challenge. He said:
We faced adverse weather conditions and extremely sore feet after Three Peaks, but there was a positive, upbeat attitude throughout and it was all worth it for Naomi House and Jacksplace. I have visited the hospice, as have many of the team, and it’s a truly inspiring place.
Corporate Fundraiser for Naomi House & Jacksplace, Jill McDonagh, said:
We're incredibly grateful to all the employees at Wilkins Kennedy for their fantastic support this year. They faced every challenge with so much enthusiasm and you can see how well they've done! The money they have raised this last year will go a long way in helping us provide vital care and support to local life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their families.
