Rushmoor Male Voice Choir raise £1,500!

Rushmoor Odd Fellows Male Voice Choir and their guest artists "Kindred Spirits" held a pre Christmas Concert to raise money for Naomi House & Jacksplace.

Their wonderful choir of 50 entertained the audience of 300 with a selection of songs and a couple of congregational carols.

The event was supported by Waverley Friends, a committee of keen hospice supporters from the Farnham area.

They raised an incredible £1,500 from the evening. That's enough to fund a days nursing care for 9 children or young people.

Peter Viveash, Chairman of Rushmoor Male Voice Choir, said:

We were absolutely delighted to have been able to support Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospices. The superb work done by the charity to provide care for life-limited children, young adults and their families is exceptional. The generosity of the audience on the evening obviously also recognised that.

Area Fundraiser for Naomi House & Jacksplace, Sarah Hudson, added:

I had the pleasure of attending this wonderful concert and had the chance to share with the audience an update on the service we provide. The evening was truly uplifting and the perfect start to the Christmas Fundraising. We are really appreciative of the support and generosity of the choir and the audience.
