Naomi House & Raymond Brown Recycling Truck!

Messy play, arts and crafts, painting, cutting and sticking are part of our daily routine here at Naomi House & Jacksplace. Children and young adults are always getting creative, painting masterpieces to brighten up the hospice!

Raymond Brown caught wind of our excellent art skills and asked us to create some recycling-inspired art to go on one of their trucks... and this is the finished result!

Billy, one of the young adults who contributed to the truck's new look, paid us a special visit to see his masterpiece in real life!

...he even got to have a go in the driver's seat and met Simon the truck driver!

Each child or young adult whose artwork has been added to the truck received a £10 book voucher from Raymond Brown, and Steve, the company's Chief Operating Officer, presented Billy with his.

Steve said:

"I want to say a huge thank you to Naomi House &  Jacksplace for designing our latest Fortis IBA lorry. It is such an honour to have been able to provide this opportunity to them and to support the work they do. Having met the staff, volunteers and some of the children involved in designing the lorry, I am extremely proud to say it is the latest addition to our fleet."

Thank you so much to the team for visiting and for your wonderful donation of £100, we are so excited to see Naomi House & Jacksplace represented so brilliantly on your truck!

Let us know if you spot the truck out and about - he's called Percy!
