CDK Global go all out for local hospices and young adults

20180404_132028.jpgSoftware company, CDK Global, based in Newbury, have recently chosen Naomi House & Jacksplace as their Charity of the Year, and they’ve launched the partnership in style by donating 8 Samsung Galaxy tablets worth £1900.

The Naomi House & Jacksplace care team will use the tablets to complete their check-in procedures when a child or young person arrives at the hospices. They will log the child’s care plans, media consent and patient notes. It is anticipated that moving from paper records to digital will speed up check-in, save money and provide a better service to families.

In addition, the team have collected and filled an incredible 52 donation bags to stock our shops, bags that are packed with quality items worth in the region of £1,560.

CDK Global will support Naomi House & Jacksplace with fundraising & volunteering activity throughout 2018.

CDK Global’s Support Analyst, Paul Wallace, told us:

“The CDK Global Charity Committee are committed to making a positive contribution to the local community, and we’ve been exploring ways in which we can partner with local charities to make a difference on a larger scale.  We’re thrilled to be partnering with Naomi House & Jacksplace as this not only gives us an opportunity to do this, but also gives our employees a variety of exciting events to get involved in. We’re delighted to have made the donation of eight Samsung Galaxy tablets which we hope will be of great benefit to the Naomi House Care Team, and free up much needed time to allow them to continue with the fantastic job they do on a daily basis.”
