Wilkins Kennedy smash Store Wars target!

Wilkins Kennedy Summer time Andover

Staff from local chartered accountants and business advisers firm, Wilkins Kennedy, gave up a day in the office to take over our charity shops on 21st July.

Teams spread out and took charge of our Salisbury, Andover, Romsey, Fareham, Queensway, Eastleigh and Portswood shops in our charity challenge, Store Wars.

Wilkins Kennedy Minions Salisbury

The challenge has been building up for weeks, with the teams setting up their fundraising pages and decorating their shops in their chosen theme!

We had Superheroes, Minions, Disney, Pirates of the Caribbean and even a Mad Hatters Tea Party theme.

They also get extra points for each bag they donate.

Collectively, they donated over a hundred donation bags. In total, they raised just over £14,000 for our hospices, smashing their target of £8,500.

Corporate Fundraiser for Naomi House & Jacksplace, Jill McDonagh said:

The support we’ve had from the teams at Wilkins Kennedy has been phenomenal. They’ve all worked so incredibly hard in the run up to their store wars challenge to help raise awareness and make sure the shops looked fantastic and raised as much money as possible on the day. The money they’ve raised for us will make a huge difference to our hospices and help us continue to provide vital care and support to life-limited and life-threatened children and young adults from across central southern England.

Thank you Wilkins Kennedy!
