Father runs to Naomi House in memory of son
Father of three, Andy Wells, has been bitten by the running bug!
In 2016, he ran the Great South run for Naomi House & Jacksplace, in memory of his son Ethan.
Since then, he has decided to keep running and continue raising money for the hospices in Ethan's name.
On Saturday 3rd of June, he set off from Chandler's Ford towards Winchester before finishing at the memory garden at Naomi House, a distance of around 13 miles.
He was met by family who cheered him onto the finish.
Ethan was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just 14 months old. He spent over a year having many operations, treatments, x-rays and scans to fight the tumour, but sadly passed away aged two and a half.
Following Ethan's passing, Andy said:
We spent the following week at Naomi House who supported us and made us feel comfortable. They cooked for us when eating was the last thing on our minds, they entertained Harry and Leah when being happy seemed impossible and they helped us make sense of what had happened. Please donate what you can, they are an amazing charity who help hundreds of families by taking children on days out and providing respite care for families.
Andy smashed his £250 goal and raised £365 for Naomi House & Jacksplace.

Well done Andy and thank you so much for supporting us!
