Young people from Naomi House & Jacksplace attend Tim Henman’s exclusive Pro-Am tournament.
4 young people who attend Jacksplace, were guests at the Tim Henman Foundation’s 3rd Pro-Am Doubles Tournament at the National Tennis Centre, Roehampton on Wednesday 28th June.
The Tim Henman Foundation supports the Naomi House & Jacksplace ‘Make it Happen’ Project, which helps life-limited and life-threatened young adults find greater independence in life and realise their ambitions.
The young people, their families and team members from the hospices watched a number of top-class tennis matches, then enjoyed a gala dinner and auction which included a speech from Ravi Mehta, pictured below, who uses the services at Jacksplace.
The youngsters met Tim and Lucy Henman, Sir Andy Murray, Jamie Murray OBE, Grigor Dimitrov and, fresh from his win at Queen’s Club, Feliciano Lopez.
Tim and Lucy Henman have visited the hospices for children and young adults on a number of occasions, and the support of the Tim Henman Foundation has been key to the success of the charity’s pioneering Make it Happen project.
