The Bitterne Conservative Club in Southampton have raised an incredible £6,600 for Naomi House & Jacksplace.

The Club raised money in a variety of ways; from race nights, quizzes and arts and craft events to line dancing and donations to the club magazine.

In addition to all of this, they ran a lottery bonus ball event every Wednesday.

Sharon Ball, Club Chairman said:

I am really pleased that Bitterne Conservative Club was able to make the contribution to Naomi House & Jacksplace. Our Club has just over 1,000 members but the monies raised every year for our charity of the year never ceases to amaze me.

Sarah Hudson, Area Fundraiser for Naomi House & Jacksplace added:

I had the pleasure of attending a couple of their events and in addition to supporting us they also managed to raise money for the purchase of a defibrillator which has now been sited outside their club in Dean Road, a wonderful asset for the benefit of the community.
