Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying up at 13,500 feet – the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go – falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at speeds over 120mph. Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles down either side of you and you begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air, steering yourself back down to the centre of the drop zone below.
Stop imagining, it’s real, it’s happening all the time and now you can be a part of it...
Take the leap and jump for Naomi House & Jacksplace this August 15th! Our skydive day is a great challenge and a fantastic way to face your fears and show your support by jumping from 13,500ft with the Army Parachute Association.
You’ll feel completely secure in the safe hands of the Army Parachute Association. The instructors have had their parachuting experience in some of the most challenging environments in the world. They will take you through your training, then when safely attached to your instructor you fly in a modern Cessna Caravan aircraft to over 2 miles high.
You will freefall for approximately 45 seconds, falling at speeds of up to 120mph and then 5 minutes under canopy (parachute).
Registration is £50 per person.
The entry fees includes the cost of your place, a Naomi House & Jacksplace t-shirt, fundraising support and support on the day. We kindly ask each participant to pledge to raise £395 in sponsorship to go towards Naomi House & Jacksplace's vital work.
Please note: Only adults aged 16 and over can participate in our skydive. The maximum weight to do the skydive is 16 stone.
Please read through the terms and conditions carefully during the sign up process before you accept them and register for the Skydive. The place is non-refundable.
