To get the best out of your fundraising we have created a social media toolkit to help you spread the word about your amazing challenge and the difference you are making.
It is such a fun event and gets you in the Christmas spirit. It is also great to do something for charity this time of year.
We advise you arrive from 8am, the fun run will begin at 9am outside on The Broadway in front of the Guildhall steps.
You must have your runner number to be able to take part.
Please make the most of our event village. We are delighted to have Grounded Coffee and much much more.
The route will be clearly marked with arrows and our jolly marshals to guide you.
Please remember to wear appropriate running shoes and take extra care around the route. Children should be supervised at all times.
A short warm up with the wonderful 2shoez Fitness & Zumba ladies, Triff & Charlotte, will commence at 8:55am, taking place in front of the Guildhall steps. A flurry of snow will then fill the start line when hundreds of Santa’s pass through.
Santa Fun Run is not just an opportunity to enjoy Christmas and stay active; it’s also a chance to make a positive impact on the environment.
By bringing your own water bottle and using local refill stations, you’ll be helping to reduce plastic waste, lower your carbon footprint and promote a more sustainable future.
Lets spread the joy of Christmas and sustainability as you participate in this fun and festive event.
Together we can make a difference one refill at a time.
The nearest water fountain to the finish is by King Alfred’s Statue in Abbey Gardens.
You’ll receive a festive keyring and a yummy mince pie when you cross the finish line.
You can hang your keyring on the Christmas tree or keep it on your keys, they are the perfect memento of the day.
Merry Christmas!
