Suzanne School of Dancing raise £11,000!
We were so excited to find out that Andover-based, Suzanne School of Dancing have raised an incredible £11,000 from their latest stage show 'What's Up There?', for their chosen charities, Naomi House & Jacksplace and Chemogiftbags charity.
£8,000 of the total amount has been donated to Naomi House & Jacksplace. It was the most amazing news to receive and we are extremely grateful to the school for the phenomenal donation and all the hard work they put into achieving it.
They revealed the amount in this little video...
The dance school did six performances across the weekend commencing 21st February 2020 at The Lights Theatre in Andover. The concept of the show featured the dancers moving into a new house and discovering an old, forgotten chest, full of exciting items from years gone by! They danced their way through the depths of the undiscovered jungles, showcasing popular music eras, past loves, a trip to the Blackpool Tower, and much more.
The money was raised through ticket sales and the generosity of the audience.
Thank you so much to everyone involved from the Suzanne School of Dancing, and to everyone who went to see one of their shows.
