Solicitors raise £8.5K for Hospices

14 Solicitor firms covering 21 branch locations across our regions supported us over our Make Your Will campaign last year. They successfully secured 42 donations on behalf of their clients under the scheme and raised a huge £8,500.

The last few years have been difficult for everyone and we are all still working through the many changes COVID has brought, yet we remain stunned by the kindness and generosity we receive from our supporters. Our fundraising remains a vital part of our income as a charity and these funds will ensure we continue to deliver our vital services to life-limited and life-threatened children, young adults and their families during this difficult time.

The solicitors who offered their help and support surpassed all my expectations, especially when we are all still working through the impact the COVID pandemic has had on us all. To waive their fees in return for a donation to us was a big ask and as a charity their support is invaluable. The need for these much raised funds, is greater than ever and without the hard work and generosity of these solicitors, this campaign would not be possible. My heartfelt thanks and especially to those solicitors who offer their continued support.
