Record Breaking Winchester Santa Fun Run!

The 9th Winchester Santa Fun Run took place yesterday (Sunday 3rd December) with a record-breaking number of Santa’s!

850 fundraisers ran 5k through Winchester city centre in their Santa suits to help raise money for our hospices.

So far, a whopping £21,889 has been raised for the hospices! That’s enough to fund a week’s nursing care for 18 children at Naomi House.

Events Fundraiser for Naomi House & Jacksplace, Charlotte Patrick, said:

To see so many people turn out to support us on Sunday morning was fantastic! The sea of Santa’s was quite a sight for Winchester and we can’t thank the fundraisers enough for their support. The money they raise will make such a difference to us, ensuring we can continue providing vital care and support to local life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their families. Thank you all so much.
