QR Codes - new ways to donate and engage!

Naomi House & Jacksplace has new ways to donate and engage!

Whether you have heard of a QR Code before or not, you will have undoubtedly seen them as part of the NHS Track & Trace system. These clever squares of black and white blocks can be used to guide users to websites, apps to order food and drink, or even make donations!

With that in mind, Naomi House & Jacksplace have started working with the digital payment service BOPP to provide a quick, easy and secure means to donate via your phone.

Once you’ve scanned the QR code with your phone’s camera, it takes less than 30 seconds to make a donation via your banking app.

Any QR codes that are used for donations feature the BOPP logo in the middle and Naomi House & Jacksplace receives 100% of the donation.

In a normal year Naomi House & Jacksplace rely on public support for around 90% of the income we receive. We could not deliver our services without the generous support of the public, local businesses and various generous funders. We want to make giving as easy as possible and hope people will agree that BOPP is a simple, straight forward way to make donations using the best of modern accessible technology.

We have also started adding QR codes to our events posters. These simply enable our supporters to scan the code with their phone which will take them straight to the webpage for that event with more info and the chance to sign up.

So if you see these codes in any of our stores, or at an event why not give them a go!
