Join the charity sector and legal experts for the free virtual Paris Smith Charity Support Week 2020.
This free event, organised by our charity of the year partners, Paris Smith, will give anyone interested or involved in the charity sector useful insight into the challenges the sector is currently facing. Speakers, ranging from The Cranfield Trust to iFundraisers, alongside legal experts from Paris Smith, will provide a varied and interesting virtual conference. Sessions include ‘Holding it together, being an effective leader today’, ‘Fundraising: what does it need to grow?’, ‘Working in the new normal’ and more.
Paris Smith LLP is a large regional law firm, founded in Hampshire, serving clients across the South of England, London and beyond, from their two landmark offices in Southampton and Winchester. The firm has grown year by year and currently numbers 43 partners, employing over 200 staff. Its shared purpose as a firm is to enable success through positive experiences with legal excellence.
This year, the firm has chosen to support Naomi House & Jacksplace and MIND, Southampton, as its charities of the year. The team at Paris Smith will be throwing themselves into raising much needed funds in ways they have never experienced before, from virtual photo competitions to office Bake Offs!
Each year, our staff are asked to nominate and select one or two charities to support during the year. I am delighted that Naomi House & Jacksplace were chosen as one of our charities for this year. As a firm, we are hugely committed to supporting the charity sector and many of our Partners and staff are trustees and volunteers within local organisations. Our relationship with Naomi House & Jacksplace is a wonderful opportunity for the staff to see at first hand the fantastic care and love that is given to children and young adults and to support such an amazing place.
