RAF Catering Training Squadron support hospices

The RAF Catering Training Squadron, based at Worthy Down near Winchester, have donated £1,100 to Naomi House & Jacksplace!

Donations were made from their fantastic catering efforts, where hungry staff made donations to enjoy their delicious meals.

On top of that, the squadron will be supporting our challenge events throughout the year. They’ll be volunteering at our forthcoming Gauntlet Games and Hampshire Rainbow Run!

Alun Davies is from the RAF Catering Training Squadron and explains how the came to chose to support the hospices:

A couple of years ago we decided that Naomi House & Jacksplace will be our main charity as it is 4 miles away from Worthy Down and such an excellent facility within our community. We also support a national charity and money raised during the year is split between the two.  Recently we were given some additional money towards Naomi House & Jacksplace so were able to donate £1,100!

Events Fundraiser at Naomi House & Jacksplace, Charlotte Patrick, added:

Having the support of the RAF Catering Training Squadron is invaluable. Without volunteer support, our events would not be the success they are and the money raised means we can continue providing vital care and support to local life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their families.

Thank you RAF Catering Training Squadron!
