Last weekend, the Easter bunny hopped into Naomi House & Jacksplace to visit the children, young adults, families and staff.
With the sun shining in the Naomi House garden, the Easter Bunny, accompanied by the special Easter Bunny security guards from the Gazelle Squadron Display Team, handed out Easter eggs to everyone visiting the hospices.
With a fun Easter egg hunt around the garden and a morning spent decorating Easter bonnets and doing Easter themed crafts, there was something for everyone.
The children and families all took part in a colourful Easter bonnet parade around the garden showing off their beautifully decorated bonnets. The parade was judged by Nurse Sian and her white rabbit, Polo.
Sian Bicker, Clinical Team Leader at Naomi House & Jacksplace, said:
Easter Saturday was a lovely day that brought smiles to all the children we care for and their families. The children, their parents and siblings made Easter bonnets, went on an Easter egg hunt, met the Easter bunny and even a real white rabbit! We were able to make this Easter a little brighter for the amazing children and their families.
Thank you to the Gazelle Squadron Display Team, who volunteer their time every year and visit Naomi House & Jacksplace, bringing the Easter Bunny with them. It is a long-standing Naomi House & Jacksplace tradition that the families look forward to.
Thank you to our fantastic volunteer photographer, Jon Bolton, for taking the photos during the day.
