Recently, Bournemouth Bach Choir returned for their annual Christmas tradition, a masterful performance of Handel's Messiah at the historic Christchurch Priory, to raise vital funds for Naomi House & Jacksplace.
The choir was accompanied by a professional orchestra and skilfully directed by Tim Hooper. The performance captivated the audience and showcased not only an exceptional musical display, but also the choir's steadfast commitment to supporting their local community.
For over 15 years, the Bournemouth Bach Choir has been a dedicated supporter of Naomi House & Jacksplace, with the choir consistently channelling their passion for music into impactful charitable events. Throughout their support they have raised more than £10,400 for our charity, which helps to make a real difference to the families in our care.
Nigel Spratt, Chair of the Bournemouth Bach Choir, says:
Bournemouth Bach Choir chose Naomi House & Jacksplace as their charity to support some years ago and have raised well in excess of £10,000 for them. At their performance of the Messiah at Christchurch Priory, they had a retiring collection which raised an additional £400. It is intended to make this an annual fundraising event for Naomi House & Jacksplace.
Tash Haji, Senior Community Fundraiser at Naomi House & Jacksplace, said:
