Team Naomi tackle the Three Peaks Challenge!
While we were all easing into our Bank Holiday weekend, 10 intrepid fundraisers were making their way up the Three Peaks!
On Saturday 28th April, the team set off to tackle Ben Nevis (1,344m), Snowdon (1,085m) and Scafell Pike (978m) in 24 hours.
They trekked through the night on Scafell Pike and a snowy blizzard on Ben Nevis before completing the challenge.
So far, they have collectively raised £4,688 for our hospices! That’s enough to fund a summer holiday break for a child at Naomi House, 1 weeks respite for a young person staying at Jacksplace or it could even pay for 5 families to stay for a week with their child.
Charlotte Patrick, Events Fundraiser for Naomi House & Jacksplace said:
Our first Three Peaks team did us proud! They faced some harsh conditions along the way, but what they’ve raised for our hospices will make such a difference. Congratulations to each and every one of them and thank you for your incredible support.
