For participants

All finishers will receive a commemorative medal and bottle of water at the finish line plus the knowledge of being the only people to have run on the bypass.

Entry to the bypass

The bypass will be open from 9am. No access is permitted before that time. Entry can be made on foot from all paths, Gosport Road, Peak Lane and Titchfield Road. Run participants and their families arriving by car will be allowed to park on the bypass between Peak Lane and Titchfield Road. Entry must be from Titchfield Road.

Runner wristbands

All runners must present their entry confirmation at the registration tent to receive a coloured wristband. These wristbands will be used to clearly identify all runners. When runners are assembled at the start line only those wearing a wristband will be permitted to run. Just before 10am all runners will be asked to assemble at the start.

On completion of your run

You will be given a bottle of water and a finishers medal. Once you have re-joined your supporters please remain off the course and please do stay and support other runners. When leaving the bypass stay on the footways and take all litter home.

Arriving by car

If travelling by car, please access the bypass from Titchfield Road and on arrival please show your run entry confirmation to security. If you do not have this confirmation, you will not be granted access to the bypass.

Once on the bypass please stay below 10mph and follow the parking marshals instructions.

When leaving or returning to your car please use the footways and do not walk on the bypass. After crossing Peak Lane ensure you have registered your entry and collected your wristband to identify you as a runner.

Should you need to return to your car, this is no problem, but you are reminded to stay on the footways.

When you are ready to leave the bypass please follow the parking marshals instructions who will direct you out left onto Peak Lane.
