Gather your virtual team, gear up and Game On!
GAME ON! is back for its second year and we're challenging you to channel your inner gamer and support Naomi House & Jacksplace!
The idea is simple: Pick any date in April and host a virtual gaming marathon! Gather your fellow gaming buddies online, and play CoD or Fortnite for 24 hours straight to support your local hospices - sound good?!
Gaming plays a big role in day to day life at Jacksplace; our young adults hospice for 16 - 35 year olds. There is always a huge sense of control for the young person when independently gaming, which they may not have outside of the respite environment.
So, challenge yourself to a marathon gaming session or get your household together to play some classics, and raise vital funds for your local hospices.
This is mainly an online gaming challenge, however families can get involved too - why not whip out the board games and play all day with the people in your household? Just play any sort of game you like, for as long as you can!
There are many ways you can fundraise during Game On, including...
- Ask family and friends for sponsorship for your marathon gaming session
- Setup a donation panel on your Twitch feed when you live stream
- Ask everyone taking part to donate to play
