To participate in the Naomi House & Jacksplace Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, you must read and accept the terms and conditions mentioned below, which form your Participant’s Fundraising Agreement. In return, we will register you for one of our places in return of this accepted declaration.
It is important that you read and agree to these terms and conditions as they are designed with your safety in mind. By ticking the box, you are confirming your agreement to these terms.
You must be aged 18 years or over to take part in this challenge with us.
By accepting these terms and conditions you are committing to the challenge.
You may wish to take out an insurance policy to cover you in the event that an injury or personal situation arises that means you are unable to participate.
The registration cost is £30.00 payable to Naomi House & Jacksplace and must be paid before the event to book your place. The minimum sponsorship amount is £375.00, the Charity is to receive 25% of the target one month prior to the event, 50% of the target two weeks prior to event and 100% of the target one month after the event.
Prior to the event:
Participants are responsible for their own medical condition. If you are in any doubt about your fitness you must contact your doctor before signing up for the event. Anyone suffering from any relevant medical conditions, illnesses or disabilities must declare this to the event organisers. Please email email@example.com for the attention of our events team.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the required fitness levels to undertake the event. By accepting the terms and conditions and making your registration payment you are confirming that you have consulted your doctor (where necessary) to confirm you are able to take on this challenge.
On The Event/Insurance:
Your event is covered with both public and employers liability insurance through SVL Adventures. You agree that Naomi House & Jacksplace and our partners SVL Adventures are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death as a result of participating in the event and you personally accept the risks involved in the challenge. You will be entering the challenge at your own risk.
Due to the nature of outdoor activities, a certain element of risk is inherent. SVL Adventures reserve the right to cancel or change the route for safety reasons should environmental or other unforeseen circumstances deem this necessary.
The Mountain Leader will make a decision regarding your on-going health and fitness during the event to ensure a safe environment for all entrants. In the unlikely event you are deemed unfit to continue with the event you will be advised accordingly.
SVL Adventures will be organising this event following best practice guidelines and health and safety standards.
Participants must agree to abide by the decision of SVL Adventures staff. Any participant who acts against the requests of the guiding staff is no longer deemed part of this challenge and are putting themselves outside the realm of responsibility of the event staff.
SVL Adventures reserve the right to refuse any participant and/or team on the day of the event where they reasonably believe their presence may have a detrimental effect on the quality or safety of the event. If this situation occurs the charity shall retain all sponsorship monies unless directly requested by the donor to return them. By taking part all participants confirm they are happy for any photographs taken during this event to be used by Naomi House & Jacksplace and our partners SVL Adventures to publicise events.
We recommend participants take out their own UK travel insurance to cover them for the duration of this event in respect of the above.
