Ever fancied learning to draw, giving painting a go, sprucing up your wardrobe with a bit of embroidery or making beautiful macrame wall hangings? Then we've got the crafting event for you!

Here at the hospices, messy play and arts and crafts are a huge part of what we do. Not only is it educational and fun (the messier the better!) it has a huge impact on the mental health of those in our care. It allows the children and young adults to express themselves in a creative way, often creating keepsakes that their families cherish.

This Mental Health Awareness Week (10th - 16th May 2021) is all about nature and the environment, so we’re bringing you a series of introductory craft sessions, all with a nature theme! Learn to draw beautiful shells, paint powerful seascapes, embroider seasonal flowers or create delicate feathers with some great crafting experts, you’ll be a pro in no time!
