Hair do or hair don't...
This May, we're challenging the brave hearted to take on a new venture to support Naomi House & Jacksplace... undertaking your very own DIY hair cut at home!
In these times of lockdown and social distancing, it has been weeks since anyone has been able to visit the barber or hairdresser and hair across the UK is in need of some serious attention. Why not deal with your hairdo nightmares by taking up the ‘Who Dares Trims’ challenge?!
The mission, if you're willing to accept it, is a DIY haircut at home. This can be done by you, your partner or even your kids!
The aim is to raise as much money as possible for Naomi House & Jacksplace by setting a fundraising target and getting friends and family to sponsor you. Setup a JustGiving page or Facebook Fundraiser and share your challenge on social media to encourage sponsors for your crazy new hairdo (or hair don't!)
Fearless participants are encouraged to take clippers to their unruly curls or let the kids loose on their luscious locks to create imaginative new hairstyles, sharing the event live on Facebook and sharing photos/videos on social media.
Whatever you decide to do, you'll be raising vital funds for some of the most medically vulnerable children and young adults in our region.
Please note: Please be careful when handling scissors, razors etc. - we cannot accept responsibility for any accidents caused by DIY haircuts, or any truly disasterous hairdos, so please be safe!
