Challenge 2019

Eaten too much turkey? Had one too many mince pies? Stuck to the sofa?

Brush off those pie crumbs, peel yourself off the sofa and get ready to take part in Challenge 2019! From adrenaline junkies and serious runners, to families and friends just wanting to have a laugh, we have a challenge to suit all of you!

Budding walkers, avid yompers and serious striders - breathe in the countryside air and start your health kick with the wonderfully popular Clarendon Way Walk. Now in its 13th year, the 26 mile trek starts in the iconic streets of Winchester and follows the beautiful route of the historic Clarendon Way, finishing in Salisbury's Market Square. Although it sounds like a breeze, it's not just an amble - the walk encompasses a diverse range of terrain and takes approximately nine hours, so you'll need to be physically and mentally prepared for the challenge!

26 miles too far? Don't fret - there's also a 12 mile option from Broughton to Salisbury, still offering outstanding views across open countryside and farmland.

Feeling ambitious? Fancy something bigger? Conquer three mountains in 24 hours with our epic National Three Peaks Challenge! This challenge is tough. It involves reaching the summit of the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, in just 24 hours.

The three peaks are Ben Nevis at 1,344m, Scafell Pike at 978m and Snowdon, which stands at 1,085m.

Three mountains and a 26 mile trek too much? Why not walk over 649 degree Celsius hot coals instead?! Brand new to 2019 is Naomi House & Jacksplace's Fire Walk!

Fire walking is the practice of walking barefoot over hot coals or wood. When the fire has burned to red hot embers it is raked level and prepared for the walk. The sensation is described as walking on eggshells or hot sand. Charity firewalking is a great way of fundraising and will certainly give you a story or two to tell your friends.
