Twinings UK Celebrates Historic Support

Famous British tea company, Twinings, has supported Naomi House & Jacksplace, hospices for children and young adults, since the very beginning for 25 years now – since Naomi House was opened in 1997. To celebrate this momentous partnership and historic achievement, the Twinings UK team came to the hospices and took part in a corporate volunteering morning.

Over 50 employees from the Twinings headquarters in Andover took part in the morning, some at the hospices, some at the charity’s shops, and some working from their office helping with fundraising, making this the biggest corporate volunteering event that Naomi House & Jacksplace has hosted.

Voluntary tasks included transforming fundraising resources, selling raffle tickets, positioning event signage, painting the hospice reception area, cleaning windows at Naomi House, assisting with research, and entertaining customers at the Naomi House charity shop in Newbury. Collectively, the volunteering support has given Naomi House & Jacksplace 21 days of help, freeing up staff to be there for families.

Ella Clayton, Senior Corporate Fundraiser at Naomi House & Jacksplace, said:

It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with the Twinings UK team and to celebrate an incredible achievement of over two decades of support. The teams took on their tasks with amazing gusto and achieved so much in just a morning. Thank you so much to everyone involved for your fantastic support and we can’t wait to see what you get up into in your 26th year of fundraising!
