31/07/2010Parkewood School of Dance, which specialises in both classical and contemporary ballet, will host its bi-annual show, The Nutcracker, at Thornden Hall, Chandlers Ford on 31st July and 1st August, this year. Unlike most other dance companies all of its profits go to it’s nominated Charity. We are delighted to inform you that we have chosen Naomi House as our nominated charity this year.Parkewood School of Dance is based at Fleming Park, Eastleigh, but has students, aged from 3 to 18, from all over Hampshire. The school has both, an excellent reputation and success rate, with students going on to a variety of top ballet schools including the Royal Academy of Dance and the Ballet Rambert.Performances at 3pm and 7.30pmPlease do not hesitate to contact us for further details.£11.00 for adults and £8.00 for children and concessions.

Charity Football Match
08/08/2010A charity football match to raise funds and awareness for Naomi House and Rob Carslake’s bike ride across Europe (http://www.justgiving.com/Rob-Carslake). The match will be played between old schoolmates, who attended one of the local schools in the past 10 years.Come on down, bump into old school friends and show your support for Naomi House. The bar will be open and the football world class!
Big Bands on the Lawns 2010
08/08/2010Enjoy a rousing afternoon performance by the spectacular Big Band on the stunning lawns of Lainston House in aid of Naomi House. Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge
12/08/2010Conquer the breadth of Britain by Bike! Starting with our rear wheels in the Irish Sea in the town of Whitehaven, our cycle challenge encompasses some of the best scenery Britain has to offer! From the rolling green hills of the Yorkshire Moors, to the stunning mountainous region of the Lake District – our Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge will leave you wanting more!Your itinerary
Day 1 – Whitehaven
We meet at our accommodation in Whitehaven for event registration and event briefing. The rest of the evening is free at leisure to get acquainted.Day 2 – Whitehaven to Barnard Castle
Following breakfast, we set off cycling in an easterly direction towards Penrith. From here we are in the Lake District so expect some challenging climbs – however, we’re sure that the stunning scenery will take our minds off the challenging ride.
Pinnacle Crew Ltd
13/08/2010Heath Freeman from Pinnacle Crew based in Wokingham and friend Chris Newell have taken the leap and decided to attempt another crazy challenge this year after they successfully swam the English Channel last year. This year Heath and Chris will be raising funds for us as Pinnacle's chosen charity. They intend to swim the 12 mile length of Lake Windermere followed by a 160 mile bicycle ride to Snowdonia and then completing the challenge with a scramble up Mount Snowdon (1085m).
