Office to Hospice Trek
The incredible team at Fortius Networks recently took on the epic challenge of walking 17 miles from their office in Basingstoke to our hospices in Sutton Scotney!
Fortius, who provide supply chain risk management software, took on the trek through the rolling Hampshire countryside and as a team, have raised a staggering £1,300!
The team’s energy and passion throughout the walk was constant, even when it began to rain during the last stint of the hike. When the team arrived at our hospices, we gave them a proper Naomi House & Jacksplace welcome, famous Naomi House cake from our catering team and lots of well received refreshments!
We all thoroughly enjoyed our walk to Naomi House & Jacksplace. While 17 miles seems daunting and was definitely a challenge, we were all in it together, as a team, and everyone felt like they had really accomplished something truly worthwhile by the end! This is such a great way to raise funds, and can include people of all fitness levels. We had everything from die hard walkers, to people who hated long walks – and everyone completed it in one piece. Blisters aside, it was a really great day!
