Local shipping and logistics companies join forces for Naomi House & Jacksplace
Two local companies recently came together to support Naomi House & Jacksplace in a unique way.
Space is very valuable at Naomi House & Jacksplace, especially for our shops and warehouse. We recently came across a need for donation storage. That’s where Williams Shipping and Willbox came to the rescue. The companies donated a 20ft container for the year, completely free of charge, to our hospices.
Victoria Williams, who runs Careers, Charities and Events at Williams Shipping, said:
The staff of Williams Shipping and Willbox have chosen Naomi House & Jacksplace as their ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2023. We are proud to support the vital work the hospices do to help children and young adults of Hampshire with life limiting conditions. We have been fundraising throughout the year, and additionally, we are happy to provide a container for their storage needs.”
The next challenge we faced was space to put the container, and this is where Prism eLogisitcs stepped in – allowing us to place the container in their yard.
