Surrey-based food supplier and long-term supporter, Golden Acre Foods have raised a staggering £37,500 for Naomi House & Jacksplace since the beginning of our partnership in 2009. The team have recently widened their support in a variety of ways, including providing food, drinks and volunteering at our recent events, the Clarendon Way Walk and Cinema Under Canvas.

Kasia Kurasiewicz, Supply Chain Junior account Manager at Golden Acre Foods, said:

I had a great time helping Naomi House & Jacksplace raise money during Cinema Under Canvas. The atmosphere of the day was fantastic, and the kids were happy and engaged with the activities prepared for them. It was lovely to see a lot of people taking part in the activities like the tombola and face painting, which were a hit!

The ‘golden’ team of volunteers supported us during Cinema Under Canvas by checking in guests and making sure everyone had a great time during the day. Tasty snacks were also donated by Golden Acre Foods to support the Tuck Shop during the event. They also volunteered at our Clarendon Way Walk and handed out medals to participants at the finish line.

Charlotte Patrick, Events Team Leader at Naomi House & Jacksplace, had to say about the day:

It was a real pleasure to have volunteers from Golden Acre Foods assist at our recent events. They were so cheerful and helpful, and made a difference to the finish line experience at Clarendon Way Walk and at Cinema Under Canvas. They went above and beyond to support us! The food items that were donated were a great addition to our tuck shop. The support of Golden Acre has been invaluable and we hope to work with them again soon!

It was so great to work with the team at Naomi House & Jacksplace and see the work that goes on behind the scenes to make these events happen, which was very special. Cinema Under Canvas was a fantastic day with a great choice of films. The families and the children at the event really enjoyed themselves.

It’s brilliant to have the extended support from Golden Acre Foods in the form of volunteering and food donations. Event volunteering is a great way for staff members to support our event fundraising and really feel part of the team. And the snack donations were a fantastic compliment to this package of corporate support.
