We are delighted to share that our Corporate Fundraising Team recently hosted their first ever Corporate Partner Day at the New Forest Activity Centre!

The day was kindly donated by our supporters and friends at FORTH. 15 of our Charity Champions from a variety of local businesses came together to share their fundraising experiences, offer valuable insights and feedback, and take part in some amazing team building experiences.

There was axe throwing, puzzle solving and a delicious BBQ lunch supplied by corporate partner, Harvest Fine Foods.

Ben Everett, Sales Team Leader at Freestyle IT, said this about the day:

Thank you to the lovely team at Naomi House & Jacksplace for organising a thoroughly enjoyable day out at the New Forest Outdoor Centre. It was a really helpful meeting with fellow fundraisers, in-person, to gain valuable insights on how we can improve our charitable efforts. It was also great to spend time with the Naomi House & Jackplace team, who are always wonderful. Axe throwing was definitely the highlight!

There day also featured an ‘Ideas Session’, hosted by Naomi Pleasants, Marketing Manager at Bio Horizons, a corporate partner that has supported our charity since 2014. The session involved teams working together to come up with ‘out of the box’ thinking, resulting in some brilliant ideas presented at the end of the session.

I think it was a great way to meet other corporate sponsors and to create a closer bond between ourselves and Naomi House & Jacksplace. I also found the session where we shared fundraising ideas really helpful to take back to work and use in within my job.

Ella Clayton presenting on Corporate Day

It was fantastic to host this special day and bring together some of our corporate partners, all who have done so much to support our charity. The day was great fun, and it was brilliant to spend time with everybody. The feedback and ideas were incredibly invaluable and will help us shape the way we do things in the future. We’re looking forward to our next one!
