Cyclists tour Candover Valley for Naomi & Jack

Father and son at finish line on bikes

This September, the 8th ‘Tour of the Candovers’ took place in aid of Naomi House & Jacksplace. To date, the cycling event has raised over £15,000 for our hospices!

Since 2014, the ‘Hampshire Tour Series’ have generously held this event, for our hospices. Originally set up by ‘1st Gear Cycles’ and ‘Odiham Cycling Club’, the route takes participants around the stunning Hampshire countryside, starting at Robert Mays School in Odiham. Cyclists ride through beautiful villages such as Lasham, Dummer and the Candover Valley, before making their way to the finish line back at Robert Mays School.

Cyclists choose a route that suits their abilities, including a 20 mile tour, a longer 40 mile route, and a 60 mile challenge for all those keen cyclists out there!

Mike Keynes, organiser of the Hampshire Tour Series Events, said:

The Tour of the Candovers provides keen cyclists with an opportunity to cycle through the beautiful Hampshire countryside following a safe, marshalled and sign posted route. All profits from this event go to Naomi House & Jacksplace, and we’re delighted to have raised over £15,000 for the hospices.
