Children - Overview

Naomi House provides professional palliative care and support for families with children who are facing life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses. We offer care to families across central southern England.
The charity has two purpose-built facilities: Naomi House cares for children up to the age of 16, whereas Jacksplace is for young people aged 16 and above.
The support that we offer includes but is not limited to: respite care, end of life support, bereavement support and emergency hospice at home care. Both of the hospices' care teams work in partnership with families and professionals to include physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual support throughout the child's care pathway.
Our services remain free to the families of children being cared for by Naomi House. We are mostly funded by charitable and voluntary donations, receiving less than 20% of our funding from the Department of Health.
