Volunteer Bike Mechanic

Back in the summer, some of our fantastic volunteers started a new initiative - the Recycle Bike Hub. The aim is to source unwanted bikes, give them a full service and then sell them via our charity shops. Old bikes become wanted again, riders get a bargain and we benefit with extra sales that help keep our wonderful charity going. We have a lot of bikes to work on and so now need another volunteer to help process our supply.

We’re looking for someone who likes bikes, maybe a keen cyclist who knows how bikes work and doesn’t mind getting a bit dirty! Volunteering once or twice a week (weekdays), you be cleaning, lubricating repairing and sometimes helping to re-build bikes off all sizes, based at our warehouse at Winnall. All our bikes are repaired, serviced and cleaned before heading to our shops and all work is approved and signed off by a fully qualified bike mechanic. And all the money we make from sales of our bikes goes to Naomi House and Jacksplace.
