Key responsibilities:

Naomi House & Jacksplace, hospices based in Sutton Scotney, are pleased to announce a new apprenticeship for a Facilities Multi-Skilled Technician with our well established Facilities Management Team.

The apprenticeship can start at any time with training at Basingstoke College of Technology (BcOT) from September 2019. The programme will give you the opportunity to gain valuable practical and skilled experience in Facilities Management (FM) and earn a salary whilst studying for a recognised professional qualification. 

As an FM team member you will assist with the overall maintenance of buildings and grounds at Naomi House & Jacksplace, our 23 charity shops and distribution warehouse. Tasks will include conducting routine inspection of premises and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance and handling basic repairs and maintenance, so you will need to be prepared to be hands-on and learn on the job.

This is a full time permanent position, working Monday to Friday (9-5) with one day a week in college during term time, and when you are ready, you will join the on-call rota 1 weekend in 3.

As you will be provided with the use of van for work purposes, it is essential that you have had a full clean driving licence for a minimum of 1 year. You will also need to have at least 5 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above, including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above to qualify for the course at BCoT.
