Take the leap for Naomi House & Jacksplace!

skydive collage.jpg

Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying up at 13,500 feet – the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below.

Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go – falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph!

Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles down either side of you and you begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air, steering yourself back down to the centre of the drop zone below.

Stop imagining, it’s real, it’s happening all the time and now you can be a part of it...

Take the leap and jump for Naomi House & Jacksplace! Our skydive day is a great challenge for you and a fantastic way to show your support by jumping from 13,500ft with the Army Parachute Association.

To participate in the Naomi House & Jacksplace Skydive 2020, you must read and accept the terms and conditions mentioned below:

1.       I understand the registration fee is individual to each participant, non-refundable and non-transferrable except at the discretion of Naomi House.

2.       The minimum age for skydiving is 16 with parental consent. There is no upper age limit for tandem students although if you are 40 or over you will need to sign a Tandem Declaration of Medical Fitness (you can now self-certify if fit and healthy).

3.       In order to take part, you must weigh no more than 16 stone. I confirm that I am 16 stone or under.

4.       I will use my best endeavours to raise money for Naomi House in connection with my place with the Army Parachute Association to fulfil my pledge that I will raise at least £395.00. Any fundraising I undertake in connection with my place will be for Naomi House.

5.       Naomi House is to receive at least 25% (£98.75) of my fundraising target one month prior to the event, 50% (£197.50) of the target two weeks prior to event and 100% of the target within one month of the event. If I don’t hit these deadlines, I understand my place in the event may be cancelled.

6.       I will ask all sponsors (unless they are donating via my online sponsorship page) to complete all fields on the sponsorship form which will include an option for sponsors to ensure their donation also attracts gift aid.

7.       I understand and will make clear to all sponsors that sponsorship money is given by way of donation and once given is not generally refundable, even if I fail to take part in, or withdraw from, the Skydive.

8.       I acknowledge that I am doing the Skydive at my own risk and it is my responsibility to take and follow appropriate medical advice in relation to my place and to consider whether there is any insurance I wish to put in place in relation to my participation (for example, private medical insurance, or insurance related to any expenses I incur such as travel to Salisbury if it turns out I cannot participate on the day).

9.        I will immediately inform Naomi House if anything happens which puts my place in doubt.

10.   I acknowledge that Naomi House cannot and does not take responsibility for any losses in connection with my fundraising or otherwise in connection with my place.

11.   I agree safety is important and I will not be able to jump if weather conditions make the skydive unsafe.  British weather is very changeable and it is constantly monitored by the Army Parachute Association team. If ground winds become too high, or cloud cover becomes too thick, they may halt the jumping programme. This may delay your jump.

12.   The Army Parachute Association will aim to contact you in advance if the weather is looking unsuitable and will advise you to change your arrival time or reschedule for another day.

13.   If I produce any fundraising materials which use the Naomi House name or logo, I will obtain Naomi House prior approval of these before they are used or distributed, and on all materials I will include the words “Naomi House & Jacksplace is a charity registered in England number 1002832”.
