On Friday 29th October 2021, we’re bringing you a Covid-friendly Fire Walk at The Holiday Inn, Winchester.
Firewalking is the practice of walking barefoot across burning hot coals. The sensation is described as walking on eggshells or walking along scorching sand. When the fire has burned to red hot embers, temperatures can reach 550°C beneath your feet!
The Fire Walk is conducted by UK Firewalk, one of the UK’s leading Fire Walk companies, with Guinness World Record holder, Scott Bell. So, no need to worry, you’re in safe hands!
One might say ‘don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits’. We’re asking you to find out how far you’re willing to go by braving this ultimate challenge. A challenge worthy of your bucket list.
Please note: Unfortunately we do come baring sad news - no spectators are allowed to this event. This is so we can manage numbers and ensure we host a safe, pleasurable, socially distanced event for everyone. Your friends and family won’t miss out though, as they will be able to tune in live on the night on our Facebook page, so will have front row seats to the event from the safest distance possible. This is subject to change closer to the event depending on Government advice. Thank you for your understanding.
We kindly ask that all adults aim to raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship to go towards the vital work of Naomi House & Jacksplace. We kindly ask that families (one adult and one child) aim to raise £130 collectively.
Please note: No prior training is required for this event, apart from viewing a 20 minute training video that will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the event. There is no strenuous physical exercise involved and no medical restrictions to take part in fire walking.
Setup a Facebook Fundraiser or JustGiving page and start your fundraising today. If you choose a JustGiving page, set yours up here, so it contributes towards our event total.
