Community Support

Naomi House's pilot outreach project provides care in the community for families living in the Southampton, Basingstoke and Winchester areas. This small team of skilled nurses and carers provide emergency and crisis care. Referrals to this pilot service are carefully co-ordinated with the Children's Community Nursing Teams.

‘As a Community Children’s Nursing Team, it was reassuring for us to know that there was a nurse present during the night to support the family, provide nursing care, and administer medication as necessary. The patient quickly built up a good relationship with the HOP nurses, and was reassured by their presence overnight.’
