Volunteering roles

Naomi House relies on the help of volunteers to ensure we are able to give crucial support to life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their families.

Here is a list of areas in which we currently need support. The list is not exhaustive so please do get in touch to express an interest in helping out in other ways

Volunteer Kitchen Assistant
Location: Naomi House and Jacksplace, Sutton Scotney

Fashion and Bargain Spotters
Location: Salisbury Shop
Do you like meeting people? Enjoy volunteering alongside like minded people who want to help raise money for a really wothwhile cause? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Event Volunteers
Location: Variable
Help needed at one off events. We need people to help as marshalls, help with registering, handing out goody bags and cheering people on!

Southampton Shop Helper
Location: Southampton Shop
Our friendly shop in the centre of Southampton needs your help.

Kitchen Helper
Location: Naomi House, Sutton Scotney
We need a roaming volunteer! Someone who will visit all the non-chef manned catering areas including staff rooms and meetings kitchen, to check on stock, both food and crockery

New Shop Volunteers
Location: Alton Shop
Do you have an eye for detail? Like clothes to be neat and tidy? Enjoy meeting new people? Then we have the role for you.

Fashion and Bargain Hunters
Location: Cosham Shop
Volunteers for Cosham shop needed to help sort and arrange the clothes and items making the shop one people love to visit.
