Trusts and Foundations

Naomi House children’s hospice depends on the generosity of charitable trusts and foundations to help us provide our palliative care services 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Their support is essential to allow us to provide respite breaks, end of life care and bereavement support to over 300 life-limited children, young people and their families from Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.

Charitable trusts and foundations have provided funds for the purchase of specialist equipment, supported salary costs for nurses and carers, and funded specific projects, enabling us to develop our services to cater for future needs.

They have, in addition, provided general funds to be used flexibly across all of our services and projects, giving us the ability to focus funding wherever it is needed most.

How you can support our work

We have opportunities for funders of all sizes and would be pleased to discuss our ongoing work and current projects with you. Our dedicated team will work with you to ensure that we meet your specific interests.

Whether you choose to support us with a one-off grant or prefer to be involved on a multi-year basis, we are here to ensure that your grant makes a difference to our work and the lives of the life-limited children, young people and families who access our services.

Reporting back

If you decide to support Naomi House, we will send you an annual report to update you on our progress, more regularly if this is required to meet your reporting criteria. Our team is always on hand to respond promptly to any requests for additional information.

Recognising your charitable contribution

In addition to sending you progress reports on our work, we would be pleased to recognise your generosity in a variety of other ways, and to discuss any options with you. These could include:

  • Invitations to meet our Care Team and to tour the specialist facilities at Naomi House
  • Naming a sponsored nurse or member of our specialist play team
  • Acknowledging your gift in our Annual Review or newsletter.
If you would like to visit us to find out more about our work and the difference your support could make, please contact us, or call the Hospice Office on 01962 843513. We would be delighted to talk to you.
