Professional Development
The Trust values the importance of training and professional development for all our staff to meet a high standard of service for all our children, young people and their families. The philosophy of life-long learning aims to promote team working, strengthening the knowledge and skills of staff to enable delivery of high quality care.
We aim to promote a learning environment addressing all areas of statutory and mandatory training and by supporting the individual training needs of staff. This can include training focusing on infection control, clinical skills development mentorship and leadership skills.
In addition the trust supports training and development for other professionals and healthcare students.
We hold a professionals day to share the work we deliver and have partnerships with local universities so we are able to support students on placements.
