We aim to give one to one care
The care team at Naomi House includes nursing care staff, family support team, catering and the play team. We aim to provide 1:1 care to the children who stay at Naomi House. The needs of the child are our first priority and we always ensure the skills of the team are appropriate to the children who are visiting so we can ensure high quality care.
We promote and encourage training & development and lifelong learning of the team. All members of staff participate in an annual training programme to ensure their knowledge and skills are current and that all care follows best practice. The hospice is governed by the rules of the Care Quality Commission (which is the same inspectorate as in the NHS) and our training meets the same standards as the NHS.
