The Naomi House Lottery was introduced as part of our fundraising in 2006. The Lottery offers you the chance to win a top prize of £1000 each week, while supporting your local children’s charity. All you have to do is pay £1 per week to enter the draw. There are 20 prizes on offer each Friday. 1st prize £1,000; 2nd prize £100; 3rd prize £50; 4th prize £20 and 16 smaller prizes of £5.

How the Lottery works
You must be over 16 to enter the Lottery – it is an offence not to be. The cost of a weekly ticket is £1. The easiest way is to join as an annual member, pay once and enter the draw each week automatically.
Quarterly and half yearly memberships are also available at £13 and £26.
Twenty prizes are on offer every week from the £1,000 jackpot to smaller amounts of £100, £50, £20 and £5. There are no rollovers so somebody will win £1,000 every single week of the year.
The Naomi House Lottery offers you the chance to win one of 20 prizes a week while supporting the charity with a regular contribution to our fundraising. This steady income enables us to meet some of the regular costs for running the hospice. All membership numbers are entered into the draw each Friday, the prize winners are drawn at random by the computer and the winners notified via post, our webpage, local newspaper advertisements and by telephone.

How to join the weekly lottery and how to pay

If you are 16 years old or over there are several ways that you can pay:
By post - We accept personal cheques or postal orders through the post. If you would like to pay by this method, simply download our lottery postal application form
Please return it to us enclosing your cheque/postal order made payable to the Naomi House. When your account gets down to £3 (3 weeks left) we will send you a reminder letter inviting you to make another payment and so on.
Through your bank - You can pay us using a standing order (not a direct debit) through your bank, for as little as £4.34 every month. Paying through this method reduces our collection and administration costs and means that you never have to worry about remembering when the next payments are due. If you would like to pay by this method, simply print out our lottery application form [PDF, 315k] and complete the Standing Order Mandate, then return it to us. Please do not send it directly to your bank.
By cash collection at your house - In some areas we are able to provide a limited cash collection service. If you would like to pay by this method, please contact the Lottery Office on Tel: 01962 826859 to find out whether this service is available in your area.

What happens next?
In return for your lottery subscription payment, we will send you an introduction letter with your unique 'draw number', which will be entered into the weekly draw carried out normally on a Friday. The weekly cost of the entry is £1 in advance. Please read our Lottery Terms and Conditions.
