LivePerson UK

Liveperson
Reading based online technology company LivePerson (UK) Ltd selected us as their charity of choice for its annual fundraising challenge.

Founder and CEO of LivePerson, Rob LoCascio flew in from New York to visit Naomi House and see for himself the wonderful support facilities at the hospice.  Rob commented: "It was a great privilege to meet the individuals of Naomi House who are making such profound change in the world, by helping youths and families live a more empowered life as they endure the reality and challenges of a life-limiting illness.  At LivePerson, we are deeply committed to making meaningful and lasting connections with every community we touch, and I believe these values truly resonate with the individuals of Naomi House.  Our employees are very proud to be supporting the work and mission of this important organisation as they impact the lives and dreams of these deserving children and their families.”

Thirty enthusiastic people from LivePerson (UK) took part in a ‘Dawn to Dusk’ walk and cycle ride across 100 miles of the Hampshire countryside to raise a magnificent £10,000 for the hospice, which the company pledged to match.  Rob and his team have committed to support Naomi House and jacksplace in numerous ways. Staff are already recycling clothing, books and toys for sale in the Naomi House charity shops and held a ‘Blag Beg and Borrow’ day to source a wish list of items for use at the hospice.

Tina Starbuck, Corporate Fundraiser, said "Naomi House provides respite breaks and end of life care for over 40 families in the Berkshire area.  We are delighted that the team at LivePerson has chosen to help the families and young adults who use our services by adopting us as their charity of the year. We make a commitment to all our families to support them for as long as they need us so long term partnerships with companies such as LivePerson really make a difference to us. We are very much looking forward to working with Robert and his UK team and wish them success with the array of events and activities they are planning".
