Gifts in memory
Doing something positive in their memory can often help
Losing a loved one is always difficult, but doing something positive in their memory can often help. If you are arranging or attending the funeral of a family member or a friend, you might like to commemorate their life by donating to Naomi House rather than buying or sending flowers.
In memoriam donations in lieu of flowers can be:
- Given or posted to the funeral director or a family member
- Sent by post, phone or given in person to Naomi House
- Given online through our website
- Or through an ‘In Memory’ page online
Donations made by UK taxpayers qualify for Gift Aid, which means we can claim, from the Inland Revenue, an extra 28p for every pound donated. If you require Gift Aid envelopes please contact us.
Remember to let us know who your gift is in memory of, your relationship to them and your name and address so we can write and thank you. A letter will also be sent to the next of kin after the funeral acknowledging and thanking them for the total amount donated.
Create a lasting tribute
One way to commemorate the life of someone special on an ongoing basis and to help with the grieving process is to set up a tribute page. This, in addition, helps to raise much needed funds for Naomi House, enabling us to continue to care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Click here to find out how.
