Family Support

Naomi House offers support for the family

Naomi House has an experienced family support team offering practical, emotional and spiritual support for the whole family throughout their child’s life and after death.

They work very closely with the care team at the hospice, and other healthcare professionals, to identify particular family needs. The support that is available includes one-to-one sessions in the family’s own home, visits to meet teachers at siblings’ school or sessions with brothers and sisters during their stay at Naomi House.

The family support team organise and facilitate specific events throughout the year to give families the opportunity to meet others and share experiences. Days include a Remembering Day for bereaved families, a Grandparents’ Day for bereaved grandparents and regular sibling activity days and events.
