Coping with an emergency when you, or a family member, has a life limiting condition is very difficult. Ensuring complex healthcare routines are covered mean that finding appropriate care is something of a challenge.

The team at jacksplace will help when you need it most. They can give you the support you need to get through a crisis. There is no such thing as a typical emergency, but they may include the sudden illness of a family member or step down care when a referred person has been in hospital and is not ready to go home.

In some instances we may be able to offer the young person a number of emergency respite nights at jacksplace. Or it may be better if we provide some respite care in your own home. Our team will discuss the options with you.
