Dorset Round the Clock Appeal

Naomi House is a unique service for Dorset famillies
Naomi House and jacksplace offer families and young adults in Dorset support throughout the year. With two purpose-built hospices that are equipped to meet the needs of children and young adults with life-limiting conditions, the staff in both units provide individualised care to all who visit.
It costs around £270,000 each year to provide support to Dorset families who find they have nowhere else to turn for overnight hospice respite in times of crisis and emergency or at the end of a child's life.
A small proportion of this sum is provided by the local Primary Care Trusts. However we are reliant on the support of Dorset people and businesses to raise the majority of the income we need.
The money raised from the appeal will help us offer families a lifeline, helping them cope with the every day routine of caring for a life-limited child.
David, a teenager from Dorset, visits Naomi House regularly for respite breaks. Read about the support the hospice gives to David and his family.
